The year 2013 is coming to a close, as is the last semester in my degree program at Front Range Community College. My Media  Graphic Design degree is within reach, and I have enjoyed all the art classes there so much that I’m going to continue to take a few here and there as I can afford to do so. Investing in education and art is ALWAYS a good bet! All of the classes have culminated in my knowing a great deal more about working with art media, with software and digitally based designs, and with schools and classes.

My publishing empire PolyMarket Press has released TWO books this year that are the fruits of what I’ve learned how to do, and tasty ones indeed. Working with Ricardo Acevedo on his photonovella NIGHT and with Kim Schlinke and Randee M. Ketzel on their how-to-who-dunnit Polymer Clay Gemstones-The Art of Deception has been a wonderful experience all year long, and we’re very happy with how the books turned out. We hope readers will be also! I also had the opportunity to set up a “popup” gallery  with other students from the FRCC Art Club and I have a storefront/studio space to make use of for a bit! It is at 364 N. Main Street in Longmont CO.

We’re having open hours FR-SAT-SUN throughout the rest of the month, and our grand opening is Saturday Dec 7 from 10am-7pm. We’re featuring live music from Michael DeLalla, Bryan Helm and Justin Fulford, and Tim Hill Combo.
