Sarajane's Polyclay Gallery

The Pig Family Has A PartyIn Print

Becoming an artist, author and publisher has been a lifetime of work, and its just a start! My first two instructional books were published by Krause, and I learned a lot from the experience. It made me want to do more, and was the impetus to my returning to college to get a degree in graphic design. I’ve designed paper dolls and coloring books, calendars and sewing patterns as well as graphics and illustrations. Now I create my own books, and also design and layout books for others. You can click on the title or the book cover image to view and purchase the books at Amazon.

interloper | fineart nudes and photo-paintings

by Ricardo Acevedo

Published in 2011, Ricardo is the first artist other than myself for whom I have designed and laid out his work in book form from start to finish. His attention to detail and quality of work made it a wonderful collaboration.Ricardo’s photography is luminous, with a distinctly edgy feel. Ricardo’s intimate peeks at beautiful models are only the start–his editing with photoshop adds all sorts of color, texture and form to many of the shots without ever become overworked. If you like vintage pinups or film noir, take a look at his fresh versions of each!

Night
A photo Novella by Ricardo Acevedo

Published in 2013, this is my second book with Author artist Ricardo Acevedo. I was responsible again for book design and layout. I always enjoy working with Ricardo!

His photo-novella in three parts paints a vivid portrait of the turbulent nights at the beginnings of this century, in black and white and in the searing colors seen only at in the dark. A mix of storytelling and images so intense you can almost hear them.
